What's the point of winning the semi final between the Stars and the Thunder tonight, if the Sixers will automatically win the BBL by default because of the severe rain expected on Saturday, the day of the BBL grand final.

As a Melbourne stars fan, i am conflicted, i would rather lose a semi than make it into the final and lose by default. That's extremely bullshit and unfair! the game should be rescheduled absolutely, even to be withheld a week is not bad. There is almost a 95% chance that more than 2 overs will not be played on the final because of the 40-80 mm rain expected in Sydney on Saturday.

Imagine a Sydney derby BBL final, only to be called off and the Sixers to be cheaply and to be handed the trophy in the most unceremonious way for finishing 2nd
