Weather: 18°C and wet. Chances of showers but we should get a couple sessions in
Toss: Overcast and damp so bowl maybe? Not sure really.
Odds: 4/9 England, 4/1 Draw, 5/1 Pakistan
Last 5
England - WWLWW
Pakistan - WWDLL
Stats ™
Pakistan aren’t playing in London and that scares me. 8 of the 10 tests in England, since 1987, we’ve won have been in London
James Anderson needs 11 wickets to reach 600 test wickets
Babar Azam needs 150 runs to reach 2,000 test runs
My players to watch:
Naseem Shah - He’s a very pacey young talent and the coaching staff and media have, unfairly but justifiably, hyped him to the moon. I think it’s fair to say all eyes will be on him when we come out to bowl and see how he performs in these conditions.
James Anderson - He’s 11 scalps away from 600 and he’s only taken 11 wickets in a match once before: Against Pakistan in 2010. Broad hit his milestone in the Windies tour and now we wait and watch to see if Anderson can meet his milestone in this series.
