Leg byes and byes don't go against a bowler, but does the bowler still get a dot ball for the delivery?

Working through some cricket statistics from different sources and have some discrepancies with dot ball counts and now I am not even sure of my own assumptions.

Do bowlers still get dot balls when a bye or leg bye is scored? We all know that those extras don't go against the runs conceded by a bowler, and a bowler can still get a maiden if they concede byes or leg byes during the over, but what about dot balls?
