What are the most inexplicable Man of the Match decisions you have seen?

There are quite a few decisions to give Man of the Match which make no sense to me. Here are some off the top of my head:

One is in this ODI. Ian Harvey scored 48* off 30 balls and picked up 3-37 in 7 overs (dismissing Lara, Samuels and Devon Smith) but the MotM was given to Ponting who scored 59 runs off 66 balls.

Similarly, in this IPL match Ravindra Jadeja scored 29 runs off 18 balls and picked up 2-25 in 4 overs, but the MotM was Mahela Jayawardene who made 25 runs off 27 balls.

In this ODI, Viv Richards was the MotM even though he didn't bat and had bowling figures of 0-21 in 4 overs. He did take 3 catches though. On the other hand, Courtney Walsh picked up 3-39 in 10 overs (dismissing Amarnath, Vengasarkar and Raman Lamba) and got India from 50-1 to 76-4. In the chase, Haynes scored 64 and Richardson scored 58*. So, it seemed a bit strange to give the award to Sir Viv.

The most unfair decision I remember in recent years was in this test, where Doug Bracewell took 3-20 and 6-40 in the match to help NZ win a test in Australia after 26 years, but the MotM award was given to David Warner for his valiant 123* runs in the fourth innings chase of 241. IIRC, the decision for MotM was taken by the audience in that series, so at least that explains it somewhat.

Also, a Man of the Series decision which I felt was given mostly on sentiment and not on logical basis was in the 3-match ODI series between South Africa and India in 2010. The MotS award was given to Sachin Tendulkar for his scores of 4 and 200* in the series (he didn't play the last ODI). It seemed strange to me that the Man of the Series was given for his performance in one match, even though it was a legendary innings. In that same series, AB de Villiers made scores of 25, 114* and 102* so for me he would have been the more logical choice even though SA lost the series by 2-1.
