Do professionals change their bats depending on conditions?

An awful lot is made of bat shape and weight these days. Both at an ametuer and professional level, but does it matter? Do players change bats based on the conditions and pitch? Switch from a low middle to high when batting on a quicker pitch? From what I've seen, most player bats just have a mid middle
