Madelyn Burke: After surprising the NFL community with his retirement at the age of 28, former Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is considering rejoining the Panthers, this time as a scout. Joining me now is Panthers reporter Jason Hewitt. And Jason, when you look at what Kuechly means to this franchise and also what he has done on the field. How likely is it that we see him return to the franchise in this role?

Jason Hewitt: Well, I think one of the critical things to consider is that Kuechly has a knowledge of the game that is out of this world. You see, he's one of those guys that studies film 24/7. He's probably studying film right now. Honestly, he's a legend. He has over 1000 tackles, 75 tackles for loss. 18 picks. He has multiple Pro Bowls, multiple all-pro nods. It's very likely that he's going to return.

Madelyn Burke: Absolutely. The Panthers organization, I'm sure, would love to have him back in the building. Jason Hewitt. Thanks so much for the insight.
