Kallis had a strike rate of 69, and around 60 - 65 for most of his career. Sobers had a +90 strike rate his entire career. Who is the better bowler and all rounder, and are either of them the greatest player of all time?

Could Kallis reasonably have bowled 30 overs a game throughout his career and finished with 400+ wickets? For this to happen he might have had to bat at six.

Obviously they were both from very different periods, and their batting couldn't be more different, but I think when it comes to their bowling, their differences in strike rate is an interesting point of difference.

Sobers bowled 50+ overs in 25% of Test matches played, and bowled more overs per game than any other seam bowler today. Kallis on the other hand usually bowled 15 to 25 overs per game; a huge difference.
