I'm both a cricket man and a timber man. I have a business that sells all sorts of types of timber (in NZ).
Since the banning of aluminium bats in the 70s there has been very little innovation when it comes to bats. Why has noone ever tried to make a bat from a different type of wood?
Or are there examples I don't know about?
