Leg Spin Help - Massive turn with one arm but mediocre turn with a normal action

Hey guys, I am a batsman but I am trying to pick up leg-spin as an additional thing. I really like it, and although I have only started bowling properly this season I have done pretty well. However, the amount of spin I get is pretty mediocre, and although I know you don't have to get massive turn to get wickets I'd still like to be able to do it if I can.

So I was at the nets the other day, and I decided let me try bowl with one arm, I don't really know why I thought that. By this I mean instead of using my left hand, I just held it at my side. And wow, it turned an absolute mile. Like an insane amount. I couldn't really fathom it. I tried it again and again, and each time it got big, big turn, so it wasn't a fluke or one-off. What is the reason that this happens? I haven't done much theory on leg spin, but I can definitely feel a rip in my hips, a strong pivot. How can I get this spin into my actual action?

Thank you guys for your help!
