Indian team shouldn’t tour Australia for the test series until the covid situation improves in India and BCCI is able to hold a few rounds of Ranji trophy.

Cricket has been suspended for nearly three months now. By the time Australia tour comes around in December most of the players will be severely lacking in fitness and form.

Whereas Australia is likely to have Sheffield shield up and running by that time.So Indian players will be significantly disadvantaged going into the series. They will also be under huge threat of having injuries as well due to lack of match practice.

The selectors will also have no clue what sort of form most players will be in either and which squad to pick.

So BCCI shouldn’t rush into such a massive tour like this. Should wait for Ranji trophy to start and allow players to participate in few rounds so that they gain form and fitness before resuming test cricket.
